Human Centrifuges

Human centrifuges are used at selected locations for training pilots and astronauts. These high-tech machines can subject trainees to the high G-forces experienced by pilots of jet aircraft, up to 9 G in all directions. The rotating parts of the centrifuge must also be built to withstand these forces.
