Contacting Transmission.

Our slip ring systems based on the classic contacting transmission technology provide a means of transmitting electrical power, signals and bus data from a stationary to a rotating part and vice versa. The transfer is made possible by special brushes that are brought into contact with a conductive band or ring mounted on a shaft.

Both the materials and the geometry of the brushes and bands are selected according to the requirements of a particular application.

Contacting transmission can be effected by three basic contact pairings: gold-on-gold, graphite and silver band technology, all of which are characterised by high reliability and flexibility.
